The Flores Culinary Cooking Experience
In the morning, at around 08.00 AM, you will be picked up by your tour guide and driven to the local market to learn about local food sources and the ingredients. After exploring the market, you will then drive to the exclusive garden for the cooking class. At the garden, you will be featuring a farmer’s local dishes, including sweet potatoes in palm sugar and coconut milk, Manggaraise coffee, and fresh fruits. Begin the cooking class, and you will learn how to cook the smoked chicken, smoked fish, lomak (mixed boiled vegetables with candlenut and shredded coconut), Sumping Ndesi (steamed pumpkin squash stuffed with sweet sesame paste), and Sambal Rajang (tomato and chili salsa). At the end of the cooking class, you will enjoy the dinner. After dinner, return to your hotel.
